KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN (KVS) is the leading institution in the field of Education. 

It is an autonomous body under Ministry of Education (Govt. of India).

KVS was established in 1962 to provide uninterrupted education to the wards of transferrable central government employees.

At present there are 1242 Kendriya Vidyalayas are working in which total 1137443 students are enrolled.

Total 48314 employees serve the KVS to make this institute flourish. (data of 2020)

1. UNINTERRUPTED EDUCATION FACILITY

Kendriya Vidyalayas are spread in each and every corner of the the country which follow uniform curriculum and other activities. 

Most of the students are the wards of transferrable central government employees like Defense personnel, Bureaucrats, Army, Railway, P.S.U. and all others which are transferred very often to the different parts of the country.

So to deal with the problem of continuity education of their children KVS were established.

All KVs provide similar learning habitat to the students.

So when any student have to shift from one KV to any other KV in the country, He or She does not feel discomfort in learning and get acquitted.

The fee structure of KVS is very affordable on the pockets.

Being a central government institution the latest government policies are implemented on the KVS first and then it is moved to the whole country after successful experiment. 

The New Education Policy 2020 is also likely to be implemented in the KVS first.

KVS is also participating in the international assessment of students called  'PISA'.

The teachers are also well trained time to time as per the latest requirements.  

5.TEAM SPIRIT

The whole students are divided in the four Houses where they go through different activities as the group and the eagerness of all the houses to secure first position in all the activities is worth experiencing..

This enhances the leadership qualities in the students and they can do well n their real life ventures.

The KVS specially focus on the ICT by using technology as the learning aid.

The teachers remains in contact with the parents of each student and discuss about their academic progress with them once in every month.
